Activity abounds in the fall. We have been happily entertaining cousins and nieces and having lots of lobster, mussels and seafood, being guides in scenic spots and even pampering ourselves at Soakology with foot soaks and massages in Portland precluding a sushi dinner. Life is good but busy. Italian classes three days a week and volunteering for Five RIvers Arts Alliance. Life is not dull.
My ear continues to improve. (I did tell you I got the tumor removed)and that is a good thing.
We have been getting some spectactular weather lately as proven by this rainbow, which actually was a double rainbow. There has been some fabulous fog, crappy cold and redundant rain but we are heading into winter and it is to be expected.

Mark is still visiting, much to my delight. The month with him here has gone by quickly but he is heading for the road soon with Amelia and Leigh. Good travel companions all. There is something almost spiritual about having so many optimistic idealistic young people under the same roof at the same time. It keeps one aware of all the possibilities. Bon voyage to Mia and Leigh who have another 5 months of travel ahead and to Mark who will travel where his heart now leads him.
